Networking Group Boosts Business Success in the U.S.

POCATELLO — A burgeoning networking organization, CONNECT Idaho, is picking up steam by assisting local business proprietors and startup founders in expanding their networks and boosting their enterprises.

The organization was initiated by local entrepreneur Morgan McKell, who holds the position of Senior Community Director. Having relocated to Pocatello about two years back, McKell established Strategy Zoo, an entity focused on crafting customized marketing approaches designed to assist businesses in growing their reach.

McKell has an impressive background featuring significant entrepreneurial endeavors. He started a thriving cell phone repair enterprise which expanded into several states, along with establishing a digital marketing firm.

Six weeks ago, McKell initiated the Pocatello group as a spin-off from the very effective CONNECT Utah network. Upon identifying a demand for increased informal and authentic networking chances, he introduced this idea to eastern Idaho—the first such venture beyond Utah’s borders.

The "CONNECT Idaho – Southeastern" gathering convenes every week at Señor Garcia’s Puerto Vallarta located at 1600 Pocatello Creek Road. This assembly provides a friendly space for business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect casually without facing any obligations like membership charges or contractual commitments.

McKell stated, "There are no membership fees required, nor do we need an RSVP beforehand. All we request is that you purchase a meal to help support the restaurant hosting our event. Please stop by; it's all about fostering genuine, meaningful connections."

Each participant has an opportunity to deliver a brief elevator pitch during the weekly lunch event without any cost. Those interested in additional exposure can opt for a 15-minute Business Overview session with a question-and-answer segment for a $35 charge.

CONNECT Idaho embraces everyone—from real estate agents to roofing contractors," McKell stated. "We're open to all kinds of businesses." He added, "The better we grasp your business activities, the simpler it becomes for us to direct appropriate referrals towards you. Many of our members have transitioned from part-time to full-time work due to the connections formed within this network.

Although CONNECT Idaho is just getting started, McKell isn’t unfamiliar with promoting career development across the area. About a year back, he initiated East Idaho Mastermind, a collective focused on mindset, leadership, and businesses that convenes every Monday morning at 7 AM at Gate City Coffee. This gathering has already attracted a notable community of entrepreneurs spanning the entire region.

These two groups synergize effectively with one another; nonetheless, East Idaho Mastermind emphasizes leadership and individual growth, whereas CONNECT Idaho concentrates on fostering relationships and facilitating direct referrals.

In the future, McKell aims to broaden the reach of CONNECT Idaho into nearby municipalities.

The aim is for CONNECT Idaho to organize events in nearby cities like Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, and further," he stated. "We already have some participating companies from outside of Idaho Falls.
